


Clothing Guidelines

Summer
Summer forest camp brings both the challenges and opportunities presented by sun, heat, insects and water. To help your child safely and comfortably enjoy and get the most out of their experience we request that your child bring the following daily:
Runners or light hiking boots,
Rubber boots
Lightweight long-sleeved shirt
Lightweight long pants
A sun hat or cap
Depending on the weather, you may also need a rain suit
ABSOLUTELY NO sandals, open-toed shoes, crocks or umbrellas

Spring/Fall
Spring & Fall bring weather of all sorts, from wet to dry, cold to warm. It’s best to send your child with the following to ensure they get the most of their experience and stay warm and dry:
Rubber boots (neoprene or rubber labeled waterproof)
Waterproof mittens
An extra change of clothes
Layers
A rain suit to go over their clothing/coat

Winter
Winter brings wet and cold weather. It’s best to dress accordingly and have an extra set of everything just in case (when) something gets wet! To help your child stay warm and dry, we request that your child bring the following:
Snow pants & coat
Winter boots (the best kind is neoprene or rubber with a liner, labelled “waterproof”
Mittens, hat & scarf (mittens are generally warmer than gloves)
Layers
Rain suit to go over top of their snow suit for those extra wet days
